Herbal Vinegars are made using the same process as extracts, but with Apple Cider Vinegar as the solvent. Herbal vinegars may not last quite as long (for at least 1 -3 years) as extracts, they can be consumed as food! Apple Cider Vinegar is also considered a nutritious tonic for digestive system, but is not recommended to take on an empty stomach as the acidity may irritate the stomach. Dilute with warm water and honey to drink it or eat it as a salad dressing!
DRAGON’S BREATH TONIC:
Dragon’s Breath Tonic is an immune-boosting tonic based on the old folk remedy Fire Cider. Dragon’s Breath Tonic is an intensely flavored potent brew that stimulates the immune system and is known to fight off colds and flu, to help ease a sore throat and seasonal allergies, to cure a hangover, replace coffee, clear the sinuses, and help digestion. It can be enjoyed by mouthful or diluted with water or orange juice (spicy OJ!), or added to a cocktail (whiskey, water & Dragon’s Breath Tonic!)
Suggested Use: Take as a daily tonic or as needed to boost the immune system.
Ingredients: raw apple cider vinegar infused with horseradish, onion, garlic, ginger, hot peppers (usually cayenne, but sometimes jalepeno), turmeric root, oranges, astragalus root, rosemary leaf, and raw honey.
NETTLE SAGE VINEGAR:
This nutritious and delicious vinegar can be consumed by the tablespoon as a nourishing tonic or used as a salad dressing or marinade!
Raw apple cider vinegar (ACV) infused with nettle and sage leaves. ACV is known for its use as a digestive aid and other benefits. Stinging nettles (Urtica dioica) are high in iron, calcium, and other vitamins & minerals, and contain astringent & antihistamine properties. Sage (Salvia officinalis) is rich in antioxidants and nutrients, such as vitamin K. it is anti-inflammatory, and a tonic for both the digestive and nervous systems.
ACV can irritate some people’s stomachs, it is recommended to consume with other foods, or try diluting it with water and mixing in honey and baking soda (to ease the acidic qualities)!
SPRING TONIC VINEGAR:
The Spring Tonic Vinegar works to strengthen and invigorate the digestive system and liver, to provide nutrients, and help the body maintain balance by flushing toxins from the system. Apple Cider Vinegar is considered a nutritious tonic for digestive system. It is not recommended to take on an empty stomach as the acidity can irritate the stomach for some people, instead dilute with warm water and honey to drink it or eat it as a salad dressing!
