Wild Seed Apothecary

WSA’s approach to herbal medicine is centered on the notion that we are nourished and healed by the plants that coexist in the environment around us. The land on which we walk is the land in which the plants are rooted, the air we breathe out is the air they breathe in and vice versa, the space we share together is where we can find the nourishment we seek in our lives. Working in connection with plants as they grow through the seasons aids in developing awareness of our own bodies and energy, allowing us to tune into the subtleties of what we feel and need. Sometimes the medicine we need comes in the form of tinctures and teas, fresh herbs and infused vinegars, or flower essences applied as body sprays, and sometimes we find the medicine most needed by directly working with our hands and the plants.

Moving with the knowledge that plants are our teachers we encourage you to explore your relationship with plants and herbal products. The formulas we offer are geared toward stocking your first aid kit with nourishing tonics and supports for common minor ailments. We view the herbal first aid kit as a pillar in the movement of reclaiming responsibility for our own health.  Learning how to read your own body, to know its limits and its needs is an imperative skill. The information on our Seasonal Medicine page offers additional lenses with which to develop your perspective on health and alignment with nature.
